About Geoff Smith

Geoff holds a first-class degree in music composition from the Dartington College of Arts, and was a founder member of the Qualia music production house, responsible for interactive music installations such as the 'Laser Grid' (developed with Loughborough Arts & Technology Partnership). His composition credits include work for Microsoft and Walt Disney.

He has also been actively involved in sound recording and live-sound engineering for the last ten years: recent recordings include live concerts for Mr Hudson & The Library (on The Police tour and for their AOL video at the Electric ballroom) and Cheap Hotel, as well as albums for Big Ten and Jelly Royal. In addition, for the last two years Geoff has been lecturing part-time in sound recording and live sound at Cambridge Regional College.
